Being an Angeleno means dealing with record-high gas prices and infamous traffic congestion.
I stumbled on Hypermiling.com, which details a set of steps that you can take to improve your fuel efficiency. No, you don't have to put any additives in your car, but you will have to be more diligent when approaching and driving away from red lights. Sound easy enough?

In the course of reading about hypermiling, I found William Beaty's interesting real-world research on how to kill traffic. Basically, this fellow is an electrical engineer, who looked at traffic as a series of waves, rather than a group of cars. If you're like me, and spend an inordinate amount of time in traffic, this will change your game. And maybe you'll start making it home in time to catch Digimon.
